Great news for coffee lovers and mileage junkies everywhere!! Or, is it mileage lovers and coffee junkies? No matter which you are, your Starbucks purchases can now earn you both Starbucks Rewards and one Delta SkyMile per $1 spent at participating Starbucks stores.
Through 31 December 2022, you can also earn a bonus 500 SkyMiles and 150 Stars by linking your Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards accounts. To do so, simply visit either deltastarbucks.com or starbucksdelta.com (creative web marketing FTW).
In addition, on days when you have a scheduled Delta flight, you will earn double Starbucks Rewards Stars (although still only 1x SkyMiles – where’s the love, Delta?).
The extra SkyMiles for something I’m going to buy anyway are a nice bonus, as are the extra Stars for linking my account. It’s always nice to get something extra for nothing. Now, how many iced non-fat caramel macchiatos do I need to drink to score that Delta One flight to Europe next summer?
