JetBlue sent an email to its customers to herald upcoming “enhancements” to its TrueBlue loyalty programme in 2023. Whilst we all wait for the time when such an announcement actually turns out to be a good thing for customers and for pigs to fly, TrueBlue members should note that the following bonuses will end on 31 December 2022: Take 3, Lucky 7, and Go Long. These bonuses offered 5K bonus points after 3 roundtrip flights in a calendar year, 7K bonus points after 7 roundtrip flights in a calendar year, and 10K bonus points after 10 one-way flights of 1,600+ miles in a calendar year. If you like to earn these bonuses, then this will be your last year to add up to 20K TrueBlue points to your account by doing so.
It remains to be seen if the other changes JetBlue plan to make to TrueBlue in 2023 add any value for their customers. So far, they are promising “non-Mosaics can earn valuable perks, new ways to earn Mosaic status, ability to customise your perks so you can choose what’s most valuable to you, and new perks for Mosaics in addition to many of the current favourites.”
All of that seems quite vague, so what do you think 2023 will really bring to TrueBlue? My prediction is that these “enhancements” will be less than thrilling, but I’m really hoping the pigs will fly.
